N. Hinde 1778 WIP

Image hosted by Photobucket.comc.1991 The Scarlet Letter: N. Hinde 1778 A miniature sampler
According to the Scarlet Letter Web page, introducing miniature samplers "Girls and women gave each other gifts of their handwork- a meaningful sentiment then as well as now" It also says the samplers were occasionally put into small books.

So I'm thinking, how cool would that be? having a selection of miniature samplers received from stitching pals?

It's certainly a cool idea...there's a mini sampler exchange being organised for next year on SBEBB, if you're interested?

What a nice idea. I love miniatures--but I am not so good at over one stitching! This is lovely, though!! By the way, I tried to post on your other blog, but I had some problems. I am looking forward to hearing what you think about The Birth of Venus. It is on my pile of TBR! If you really like it, I will have to move it to the top!
