wearing Green today???

Is this a better photo? Now, I think you can see the laying tools ... and my progress on the corner square of my WIP Afghan. I've really enjoyed the 'bone needle' and yes, I have dropped it a few times & it has not broken!!!

In addition to the afghan, I'm stitching in the vines on this lovely tabletopper. It is Buzz My Grapes designed by Claudia Dutcher of Dutch Treat Designs. I was having difficulty with the vines & decided to get them ALL stitched before I add the other motifs [grape clusters, bee hives, leaves]

I really do like the acorns on your afgan, they are my favorite part. Buzz my grapes is looking very nice as well, the colors on that are so pretty.

Enjoyed seeing your laying tools. I only have one, a trolly needle. However, am thinking about getting one I hold in my hand rather than put on my thumb. I think I might like it better, plus with 3 cats I'm concerned that at some time one may jump on me when I'm stitching and get poked. With it on my thumb, there would be no where for it to go but into my cat. One in my hand would probably be able to be dropped (or knocked out of my hand) and so I think it might be safer.

I have to admit that I didn't even realize it was St. Paddy's day today. Oops!

Your afgan is looking lovely, Lelia, and Buzz my grapes is beautiful! Can't wait to see more!

Happy St Paddy's Day to you as well... I was wearing green today! :-)

I'm always wearing green as my wedding ring has emeralds! :)
Hope your St. Pat's Day was as gorgeous as ours - I actually got some yardwork done in the warm sunshine!

I haven't used any honest-to-goodness laying tools. Perhaps I should if they would make my stitching look as good as yours! :D

Oooo a bone needle. Glad to hear from experience that a few drops didn't break it.

Your afghan is just beautiful. And I love the table topper...what a fun piece! Just out of curiosity, what is the difference between this blog and Stitches of Life II?
