Stitching with a headcold

Sew With Kindness
Freebie, c.1997 - Mary Garry

I'm using over-dye [GAST] and cotton floss [DMC] on 25-count raw linen. Won't she look better with eyes & hair .... LOL. Her skirt has little motifs of hearts, scissors, cabin. More soon -- I just knew I'd come down with this cold. I could feel it coming on ... DH told me once I was over the fever, I'd feel much better. Yeah, right. Everything just hurts. The only thing that sounds good is taking a nap.

Ah, the joys of autumn. :( I've also been fighting a cold/chest/sinus thing for a couple of weeks. Good luck. Love your Mary Garry start!

What a great start, Lelia! My munchkin came down with a bad cold as well. I know what you're suffering. Can you actually stitch with a runny nose?

Very cute so far! I hope you get to feeling better soon. Get lots of rest ,plenty of liquids and stitch when you feel up to it.

Sorry you're under the weather, but what a delightful little project to help you feel better. I'm between projects right now and looking for something fun to stitch. This little freebie will be perfect. Thanks for inspiring me! rr

Lovely browns on Mary Garry. May I know Lelia for 25ct linen do you use 2 strands or 3 strands of thread?

Sorry to hear that you are feeling under the weather. My DD has the same thing - she's been miserable!

Yup, eyes and hair will help. So sorry to hear you have a cold, something certainly seems to be going around as I've noticed a couple people on the boards complaining they have colds right now. Hope you feel better soon.
