Buddy Update

I took Buddy back to the vet this a.m. He had his stitches removed & the halo/collar removed. He was laying in the back seat of the car & seemed happy licking his paws. When I was near home, I reached back to pat his head ... oh no, his ear tear was open and bleeding -- called the vet & drove back. After looking him over a second time, it seems the ear tear was healed ... except for one section near the tip of the ear. They wrapped his ear & he shook his head -- it flew off. They wrapped his ear a second time and put the halo/collar back on. Poor Buddy. The bandage stays on a couple days. I made him scrambled eggs for dinner.

Received the premium booklet for the Porter County Fair. Not sure how many entries I have to exhibit. Seems I have less stitching projects in the works than last year. Will have to look over the booklet again and see what I have for the fair. I just have to get something submitted this Summer : )

Poor little guy! Looks like you are taking good care of him and maybe spoiling him a bit as well.

Awww, poor thing! It's a good thing you were keeping an eye on him. I hope that he's all healed and better soon.

Poor, poor Buddy. I hope his ear heals soon and he can have the freedom of no collar again.

Oh poor guy! But I think we suffer through it just as much as they do!

Aw, poor Buddy - he is so lucky, though, to have a Mom that will make him scrambled eggs :-)

Sorry about your dog. He will have to be patient some more days ... But these scrambled eggs are a nice compensation :)

Greetings, Carolien
