This is what works for me. I bought two sizes of the lapstand in 1998 b/c of space issues in our home. I know there are other stands/systems out there! I put the lapstand on my desk w/hand weight [and OTT light when needed]. All my stitching things are in the drawers to my right [I am right-handed]. There is a basket on top where I toss the pattern, floss, etc after I'm done stitching for the evening.
I love this art corner!! Very well organised and well equipped.. Cool!!!
ReplyDeleteI like how you have everything set up. Thank you for explaining it on my blog, it's nice to get ideas because I am still trying to find something I like. I noticed on your scroll frame your fabric is nice and tight. That is another problem I'm having, I'm used to using Q-snaps and my scroll frames are not staying tight, especially on the ends. My stand supposedly takes Q-snaps but they slip around and don't fit quite right. I guess I'm going to have to experiment till I find something that works. Thanks for showing everything!
ReplyDeleteI love your little cosy creative corner..I think it's a wonderful place to create..I wish I could find my other box of floss!! lol
