I have been enjoying these Elm Creek Quilts Novels. I'm not sure how many there are in the series; however, I know the new one is on the NYTimes Best Seller's List.
There is a very nice web site with quilt block patterns, book news, blog by author, block-of-the-week, etc. Web Site Here. I enjoyed reading the Sugar Camp Quilt book best. The other two I read were very good, too.
No complaints with the weather this week-end. It is perfect!!! Nice breeze, sunny, 70s, how awesome!
That is a wonderful series. I haven't read them all yet, but have read several. I think my favorite may have been the runaway quilt.
ReplyDeleteWeather here is great this weekend as well, sunny and mid to upper 70's. Finally it feels like spring, although I think the spring part may be short lived and move to summer fairly quickly.

It has an excellent week!
Kissis for Nisa!( BRAZIL)
I recently started reading this wonderful series. Started with book 1 and am looking forward to the further adventures.
ReplyDeleteLove your Queen stitch.
I've only read one so far, too, and I just loved it. I loved the weekend here - beautiful weather! It's so nice after all that craziness.
ReplyDeleteI've heard a lot recently about these books and I think I'm going to have to try them... Do you know which one is the first one in the series?
ReplyDeleteOur weather was lovely as well... such a beautiful change from all that dreary, wet and cold stuff we were having... :-)
Lelia - I just picked up the last book in this series - these are my favorite books! It helps if you read them order (you don't have to, but it is much easier to follow the story line if you do!)
ReplyDeleteI believe there are seven books out now.
In the Christmas Quilt, she describes how to make apple strudel - its exactly how my mother makes it!
Happy Reading!
Thanks much for the link and info... I hadn't heard of these and I just added them on my "must read" list :)
