MUST HAVES : )

Good Afternooon! How is everybody doing? Yesterday, GF Sue D & Deb L picked me up & we went into LaPorte to visit House of Stitches for NANI business. What a delightful time! While browsing, I picked up a couple MUST HAVES. I have new thread drops for my perle cottons. I enjoy stitching tabletoppers & I think the thread drops will be the answer to my storage needs. I like to store the perle coton fibers without worrying about the 'bends' from floss bobbins.

ALSO, I found a drawstring bag for my mending supplies -- It has room for small scissors, little pockets on the inside for spools of thread & the bottom is a pincushion.

This is what it looks like when open:It is small enough to be portable & I luv the drawstring closure.

Floss Bobbins

I have not been able to keep up with individual e-mails! Sorry, it has been quite busy around here.

For the person who asked about the web link, for the freebie pattern to make your own Embroidery Floss Bobbins:

I tried the link this a.m. & it was working. Direct link is: http://craftchi.com/blog/?p=610 OR Embroidery Thread Cards.

For the stitcher looking for the multiple color floss bobbins:

I bought them at House of Stitches in LaPorte, Indiana. They are see-thru plastic & I think the same thickness as the white plastic bobbins. I visited House of Stitches yesterday & they still had some : )

  3. I love House of Stitches...wish I could visit the place in person! I do a lot of online ordering from them, though, and I'm always impressed with their excellent service.

    Cute little drawstring bag!

  4. Hi!

I would love to see how the thread drops work too... I don't like bobbins for my floss because of the bends/folds when you take it off, so this is interesting. Thank you.
