During our zoom class, we used this pattern for a 1 1/4" aluminum ring.

The button, in my photos, was created on a 2" wooden ring.

I used:

Aunt Lydias #10 Crochet Cotton.  Col. 0423 Maize (yellow)

Delft Blue Aunt Lydias #10 Color 0482.

Green DMC perle coton #8 Color 701.

Lt Green DMC perle coton #8 Color 704.

Royale (Coats) Crochet Cotton Color 0015 Sh.Pinks.

Created on a 1.25" aluminum ring.

FIVE colors of crochet cotton.

yellow - white - grass green - lime green - pink.

The backside is a mess!!  LOL.    I need to create a shank and

tidy up the back.

This is the button I have started -- planning to add some yellow. 

Then finish the ring with buttonhole stitch.

Back from some shopping.   Nice to find fiber

on sale - and some rings on sale.
