Woven Star

Woven Star w/Corner Anchors.

I used DM Coton Perle #5, Colors 761 + 739.
Button Mould 1.5"

This is a button my kitty got ahold of.
Our son, and daughter-in-law, and her brother visited.
They wanted to see the buttons.
Came into the sewing room and the buttons on the table had vanished.

Demi found the 'stick' the button was on.
Andrew found the needle.
After they left, we found this button in my DH's closet.
As the closet door was closed, we can only imagine how much fun
the kitty had batting the button all over the floor.

And, for inquiring minds,
this is what the back looks like.

Usually a backstitch all around to secure the fiber
and a fiber "shank" with buttonhole stitches.
