Storms -

 Following Tuesday's storm, saw this outside my window ...  Viceroy!   I still have Orioles at the feeders - and Hummingbirds -- was thrilled to see the Viceroy on the orange ...

 Toad Lily.

 Cicada -- Neotibicen Canicularis.

Storms on Tuesday -- No power -- Internet back this evening.   Not sure when the power wil be restored.   Either Tuesday - or sometime Tuesday thru Saturday.   : (

 Large tree down -- took 5 trees with it.

 Loss of 6 trees.

Summer

 

 

 

 

following the heat wave:

 

 I see the kittens early in the a.m.    Then, they go someplace -- until the following morning.

 Mom goes into surgery this week.   Has had her shots.  Unable to get near any of the kittens.

Heat Wave ...

 Outdoor kittens are growing up.   Now eating kitten chow.   Won't let me near them - I open the door and they scatter.  Is it Summer?   Yes, very hot here.

 I've been emptying tatting shuttles.   Creating Lace Samples for lacemaking demonstrations.

 Many tatting patterns to choose from and I continue with butterflies.

Grandmother's Favorite Dishcloth.  Using Size 8 needles.   Should measure a 8" square.  Sugar'n Cream Scents, Camomile.

 With size 9 knitting needles, looks like it will be 8-8 3/4" square.   Sugar'n Cream 01004 Soft Ecru yarn.

Virtual Walks

I Completed the Mother's Day, Virtual 35 Miles (walk).  This medal has a section for needlework.   The 4th photo shows a possible pattern to use.

 

I completed the 

5K (virtual) walk supporting Indiana State Parks + trees.

I'm also signed up for the 250 Mile - Gasoline Alley, now in progress, started June 1st - thru October.
