Herb Garden - finish

Thx for all your kind comments!

All done : ) I'm happy with the way it turned out. Will have to get a frame selected on my next trip to House of Stitches.

Will flip thru my WIPs & think I'll go back to The Gilded Cage. [Barbara: you have a good memory re. The Gilded Cage. When I pull out the project, I'll post the DMC floss numbers I'm using w/link to my original post about the fiber toss.]

Have you visited the Hoffmandis site lately? Did you notice the S.O.S. freebies? Link HERE

I don't understand Mrs. Cat. Never mind she has fresh water in her own bowl. Why go for the DH's drink? Same water - same temperature - it is a mystery. Thx for the LOL comments. And yes, she still curls up in the clementine box on the counter + the skillet when I have it out on the table. This cat keeps us entertained : )

PLUS, I really should get out the premium booklets for the fairs & finalize my entries. I don't have a lot of stitching finished-finished, most are WIPs. If I am going to enter, I need to browse my 'stuff' and see what I can finish in time!

Enjoy the day.

WIPs [progress pics]

Look what I found? At last. It went missing & I found it yesterday. Yippie Skippie. The boys wanted to use the internet at the public library [faster connection] and I sat in my car & stitched in the herbs. After a few cross stitches, I realized some frogging was necessary. Took some stitching out - restitched. This is a darling-cute sampler IMO. Herb Garden by Little House Needleworks. c.2004 Diane Williams. 63w x 96h. I am using the suggested DMC floss on 28-ct lilac linen. (my current traveling project)

Before I located Herb Garden, I finished stitching 'the bird' in Gilded Cage, and plan to keep stitching this project at home. The DMC floss is bright and cheerful. A delight to stitch this delightful piece.

Stitchie sort of news

This is Berthi's Birdbath -- I really enjoyed working on this motif! I used DMC floss from the pattern on 32-count French Lace Linen.

Progress Picture: This is "Herb Garden" by Little House Needleworks. I haven't done much!!

Thanks for asking about the kids & pets. I have posts about them on my other blog.
