And, just when I thought I'd wear blinders for the entire day, I came accross this design from the sampler collection of The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center:
Per the pattern: "This design is an adaptation of a motif found on a seventeenth century English band sampler in the collection of Vassar College." I thought it was so pretty & was delighted GF Ruth Ann was paring down her stash!I found a nice book with doll patterns -- and, a wonderful doll kit at Sue's table -- and she was mighty generous handing me a giant shopping bag of LACE.
