Here are some of mine:

I stitched and finished these needlerolls.   

They are Shep Bush kits and Sekas designs.

Two of these beautiful pinkeeps were gifts. The Souvenir de France was

stitched + finished by GF Anna.   The Christmas Heart was

stitched + finished by GF Cathy B.   I stitched and finished the small

Sampler Pinkeep - and still have a small one half stitched!

I stitched and finished this Pin Cube.

This is a kit - wool I made a cupcake.  I made a few of the kits - fun to assemble.

A beautiful wool (in muffin tin) pincushion

given to me (and made by) GF Beth --- Tho, I confess

no pin has ever landed on the wool basket!

These, I use ALL THE TIME.   GF Sue made the Stick it Here.  It is the perfect

size for 'on the go' pincushion!!!   The other two were made by my Mom.

She had a yard of fabric + the designs were cut and sewn into pincushions.   She embellished

with quilting, beads, etc.   I use them ALL THE TIME.

Counted Cross Stitch Bear

Per request, a close-up of the small bear [from yesterday's photograph]. Somebody has to explain to me how I can get an e-mail, make a reply, and have it bounce right back to me. It is spam because I attach a photograph??? I'm confused. Stitched by my Mother

This bear was made by my Mom. My Mom made oodles of cross stitched bears a few years back. When I visited her, I told her I liked the one [in photograph above] best -- next thing I knew, it was mine!!

She gave them away to friends & family as holiday gifts. She made stuffed bears, and also stitched the motif on a square aide cloth which she created pockets on the outside of pre-made tote bags. She'd stitch the design & with sewing machine, add it right to the tote bag.

WIPs: just a few more stitches added

I've added a few more letters into the Old Saybrook Sampler. I am following the DMC colors provided & trying my best at the letter placement. The graph I have isn't the greatest; however, this really is a fab repro once stitched.

I FINALLY finished ALL of the vines on this tabletopper. I was worried that I would run out of perle cotton -- did have a small piece left over [used 2 skeins of pc#5 for the vines]. I started the first of four beehives.

This is a small place card stitched by my Mother. She made 50+ for a Lenten Breakfast program at her church. The inside of the card has a small paper inserted with some info re. their program. I hope the program participants appreciated them!

I have been reading two books: Angela's Ashes [Memoir by Frank McCourt] and The Mercy Seller [Historical Fiction by Brenda Rickman Vantrease. Seems I've enjoyed my books more than stitching these past few days : )

Hard to believe it is 31 degrees, 45mph winds, wind chill reading of 12 degrees. I'd like to have that 60 degree stuff back. Our flowers are blown to the ground. We are expecting snow flurries. Time to run a few errands. Blek.

And, yes, two of the cats are getting along very well. Aren't they sweet?

I got some packages out to MIL, SIL/BIL, Mom last week -- with ornaments. My Mom liked hers ... verdict still out with Mother-in-Law, Sister-in-Law & Brother-in-Law.

Thanks a million for all the comments, e-mails, and cards. I appreciate your visit to my blog + comments. After the break ... I will enjoy visiting blogs & seeing all the new stitchie stuff. Needlechat is so much fun. Yes, I'll pick up some stitching after the New Year.

Very sweet. Made for Nicholas. There is another package for our daughter who will be home from college on Saturday. Lucky us! I have not been stitching at all. I did finish my re-do of the entire household. I'm looking forward to holidays and family activities. I keep it simple. Did anybody else peek at the calendar & notice it is the 12th?? Where do the days go?

This is my Mom's Round Robin / Friendship Sampler. The stitchers are members of Needle Artisans of Northwest Indiana.

This week-end is The Threads That Bind needlwork exhibit held in Munster, Indiana [details on the web site, link above]. Saturday & Sunday 10am - 4pm. It is my understanding there will be 240+ projects on display stitched by the EGA chapter members. Along with the exhibit will be a boutique - stitchie goodies for sale.

I am dropping off my Mother's exhibit pieces on Friday late afternoon. Lucky me, she is picking up everything on Sunday afternoon.

I took pictures of her entries and will load all the images into a photo album later this morning.

My Aunt passed away a couple years ago. Her scissors were given to my Mother. My Mother used Forget Me Not freebie from the Drawn Thread web page to create a fob & scissors sheath for my Aunt's scissors. What a special keepsake!

Yes, forgot to list this in the other picture. These are Homespun Elegance Button Heart (stitched by my Mom), needlebook is a Prairie Schooler (I think - I lost this pattern), Hope Sampler Accent by Periwinkle Promises, Drawn Thread Mat Gentle Spirit by Emie Bishop. The small box with kissing cherubs is a sewing kit & the silver pin was a gift from DH a couple years ago.
Aren't these neat? Sampler Ornaments by Handwork (I have #7 & #8)... Maybe would use some sort of dk red instead of the black fibers. I think I must have a couple freebie Workbasket designs around here someplace.

I finished stitching Tin Pin Heart. Not sure how to mount it into the tin!! It is stitched over one thread & didn't take very long. (picture tomorrow?)

Thought of the Day: It takes about 45 min to drive to the nearest LNS .... it takes a few steps to enter my CLOSET ... and, I like everything I've already bought : )
