Over the week-end,
Karol & I went shopping
we visited
Needle Nest and Erica's

I found some nice fat quarters,
fibers, embroidery needles, & picked up the current issue
of Needlepoint Now

I enjoyed Coni's page,
what a hoot

Following our spree,
we had wonderful
salads at
Hacienda House
next door to Needle Nest

Aren't these the cat's meow?

I was gifted by Pat
blogging at Pat Winter Gatherings ...

She sent two stitching accessories
A needle keeper
(a very pretty leaf
with super strong magnet)
to keep my needle from
falling away!

See the needle in the center of the leaf?

AND, a needle threader
with a smashing kewl
bead on the wire!

The bead is perfect
to hold & the wire
easily goes thru
the needle eye

Did you notice the awesome card they came with (on)?

OH my, Pat sure knows how to spoil me rotten : )

I cannot help wonder if she
is planning to gift her students
when they come for lessons
or add these to her
etsy shop

Lessons? as in classes? Yes,
check out her blog
Pat Winter's Crazy Gatherings
for her CQ & other demonstrations

I am grateful for NANI pals
and their never ending generosity!

blogging at World Embroideries
gifted me with this
fantastic Temari Ball

Have you seen her
wonderful Temari creations?
Check out her blog ...

... wait a minute ...
there is MORE
She decided to part with
a ton of her
Crazy Quilt fabric pieces
sharp needles
& trims!

I'm delighted to have a collection
of bits of this-n-that in my stash

Thanks a million Jane : )

Isn't this tatting beautiful? I received this beautiful bookmark from Cathy B who blogs at With Needle & Thread Thanks Cathy & thanks to your Mom, too! Cathy writes that she started blogging four years ago & I was one of the first to comment on her new blog Lucky Me!!! I'm thrilled to own this tatted bookmark, made by her Mom Did I mention I'm going to take some tatting lessons on October 22nd at 1:00 p.m.? I'm not real sure I'll be good at it I've always admired this art and will appreciate it more once I know how it is created!
