Underside couching - heart class piece (continued) ....

I continue to put in stitches (counter point couching) in a silver metallic -- Tanya Bentham: Underside Couching Heart Class / Workshop.    Determined to finish this Heart Class..  


 Next:  Will begin the circles around the heart motif -- probably start with the darker pink ...

 The kit has lovely choices in colors.  Next - the inner circle, background of the heart.   Called counter point couching -- here we go ....

Valentine Heart Buttons

 Large enough to hang on the window.   Heart shape was a bracelet covered with yarn.   Fun to use the fibers, ribbon, roses using dorset button techniques.

Kit and Underside Couching instruction, Tanya Bentham,  Blog: Opusanglicanum.

Earlier Today:  Tanya Bentham: Underside Couching Heart Class / Workshop -- zia zoom.

Here is the kit .. and the pattern laced to a needlework frame.  Linen fiber, Colors are Passing #6.  (Benton & Johnson fibers).

This is what I accomplished during class.
There were 3 color choices with the kits.  I selected pinks.

 A start.
