knitting ....

Yes - I did get the 2nd mitt knitted.
Do you see the small length or hand spun shetland
that I had left?  I have some of the darker color - probably enough to seam them closed.

Plan to block and get the seam done on Monday.

The wrap - pattern called Ardent -  only a few more rows added.  Uncertain I will have it completed in time for 2024 Feast.   I do have a couple others which I can wear with my costume for the Feast of the Hunters' Moon.

(2023 with Brenda & Carolyn, observing the opening ceremony)

Some progress on my Wraps

I think I've done more knitting in the past couple weeks.  And a small bit of tatting.

 Antarktis ... nearly finished.

Ardent ... another section done while chatting with friends.

Summer Sky.  Next section - Star Stitch.  I've never tried it, but liked the look of it in the photograph.

September will be button classes and an intermediate tatting class.
Via zoom thru the Lace Museum.

Monday cast on ...

I purchased this yarn in January.   At a lovely store in Pensacola, FL.

The yarn store was lovely.   I wished I had more time
to totally shop --- did find the EXACT color blue I was seeking.
And the correct amount.

Cloud 9 -- what a beautiful yarn.   Knits like a dream.

Will eventually be a wrap, called Summer Sky.

Honestly, knits like a dream.   I hope it looks nice
once I am done.

Ardent by Woolenberry.  No progress.  The yarn is nice tho.   The color is so - natural.   I find it challenging.   Easier for me to use colorful fibers.

I started it in .... I don't know 2017???   Nice to have unearthed it.    How do these beautiful projects get burried in the craft room?     I think it is my oldest Woolenberry WIP.
The yarn store is no longer in business!

Sometimes, you just feel like knitting.

Risoni Bias Scarf
Pattern by Kristin Ford

[but I might start over and do this differently.   I cast on too many stitches]

I also really would like to start the Risoni Triangle by Janet Avila.   (free on Ravelry).   Now that I have the skeins needed (of Risoni), I'm looking forward to making an asymmetrical triangle.
