Akumal, Mexico

Beautiful dream catchers.   I saw many.  Reminded me of the thread wrapped buttons.   Larger formats.

 tide pools in the bay.

I enjoyed snorkeling in the bay.   Saw 12-15 sea turtles Tuesday morning.    Was told they are more active in the morning when there are wavy conditions.    BINGO!!!

I totally enjoyed the resort kittys.   I think 4-5 of them.

 beautiful place to visit.

Buttons 81, 80: Dorset Knob + High Top

Somehow, I feel like I've got the technique, but need more practice.
And need a cone shape for the knob - -

The knob have rounded tops.
I made a round shape with cotton, fiberfil
Embellished with Flora 20, Col. 201.

The high top should be cone shape.
So - I sort of made a longish shape w/cotton fabric, filled with small pebble and fiberfil.
Embellished with DMC Cordonnet Special 40, Ecru.

A few favourite hearts ---

Happy Valentine's Day.   These are a few of
my fav needlework hearts.

February's 5K

I think this is my favourite tee shirt from the 5Ks.

Chilly morning run, started outdoors and finish line inside.

Middle son walked the 5K.   Still in
recovery mode from his knee procedure.
