Diamond (design), square frame w/woven corners.

I used a 1.5" wooden button mould.

DMC Coton Perle, size 3 - colors 926, 924

DMC Coton Perle size 5 - color 926

So the perle size 3 is wider & softer, outside edge made with perle size 5.

I used 1.5" mould.

DMC #5 Coton Perle.  Colors 743, 552.

My button tool box is filling up!

Button 19: Woven Diamond Button

Woven Diamond Button.

I used 1.5" button mold, DMC Coton Perle #5, Color 677.

These are both woven diamond buttons, using similar thread wraps.

Difference is the diamond on the left (yellow) has two vertical threads - and

the blue button has single vertical threads.

Yes, my thread wound buttons are in a plastic yarn ball!

So far, our kitty has been unable to play with them.

1.5" button mold.

 Still room in the yarn ball for more buttons.  I think the three button terms will yield around 100 buttons.
