Lovely start! Isn't making changes to suit yourself half the fun?
I love your primitive bird and also the flowers that are popping up in your garden. Love Patti xxx
What a beautiful start! And welcome spring!!
ohhh! nice start. Is this pattern in the book? I have been wanting this pattern for awhile now. I didn't know it was in the book. Is there somewhere what designs are in the books?
Pretty purple crocus
Ah, swapping fibers does slow one down, but oh, the results! Your start looks great! Is that the backing fabric you're planning to use?? I like it.
Hey Lelia, I like your color changes! Wish Spring would pay us a visit here in MN - we're expecting snow tomorrow!
Lelia, that is going to be wonderful. I like making color changes in my projects too. It's sooo worth it in the end. That flower is just screaming Spring!! :)
You're off to a fabulous start. Great idea to swap out the color!
Your new start is looking good. I like the red you're using.
Love your new start! And that little shot of red really perks up the pattern :)
That is a great new start! I love that color, just perfect!
I like the changes in your colors. Very nice. The crocuses are nice to see. Ah spring
Primitive Bird is off to a great start. Just love the flowers ready to bloom. Bring on the Spring.
What a lovely work that is going to be when you are finished!
Hope you stop on by for my 1st Blogoversary/100th post celebration! I'm even having a giveaway! Do come on over! Everyone is invited!!! :)
Hi Lelia! Thanks for visiting! To answer your question; the plastic tatting thread container I got at Lace Day in LA where a bunch of lace vendors come and sell their wares. I got this from "Loopy Lacer" A.K.A. Lily Morales who sells stuff. I can't find a website for her...maybe you could google her?
Nice start, I like the colors. Love the flowers too, I'm so ready for spring/summer to really be here.
Sue
