I don't use Gingher's little snips, but I do love their little scissors for snipping thread! When I hide my thread ends in the double stitches for tatting nothing gives me a cleaner closer cut than my little Ginghers! I love them so much I got a pair with leopard print handles and I just ordered a custom painted tatting shuttle w/ a leopard print to match them, LOL! Stay tuned! I'll be posting once I get them! :)
I have been using Gingher's little snips for years! I have one in each stitching bag.
Great finish! I have not used the little snips but maybe I should give them a try!
Hi Lelia,I'm trying to type this around mycat Phoebe who insists on sleepingin my arms. You know you can't argue with a cat!!!I think the books you're thinkingof are Philip Pullman's GoldenCompass trilogy. There was a moviemade of the first book a few yearsago with Nicole Kidman. I haveread these three books as well, but I loved the Inkheart seriesmore.Your scissors case is lookingbeautiful. Is it stitched onplastic canvas??? Love the bluecolours and the beading on it.The smaller case in the pastelcolours is very pretty too. I don't have any Gingher scissors.I have a pair of Rooster shapedscissors and your standard storkshaped scissors. The thread cutter that you prefer looks cool. How does it work I wonder???I've always loved the Drawn Thread's Sampler Board and am soglad that you got yours back outto stitch on again. It is sopretty and would be a wonderfuladdition to your finishes. I haveit in my stash too. Perhaps someday, when I finish WaywardGarden, I'll start that one. I've heard of the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society from somewhere, but can't think where. Maybe ina book review?? Anyways, itlooks good. I'd read the bookthough. The flowers from your DH arejust gorgeous!!! You got to meet the SpinsterStitcher??? Oh lucky you!!I love reading Coni's blog.Is she as funny in person???Cheers!
