I had a class / zoom (earlier this year) 

and she provided a nice kit with a 2nd ring, to

try using a different fiber (than what was in the kit).

The white one - was made

during class.

For the 2nd ring:

I used Anchor Mercer Crochet 10

Col. 1012.  Lot. 722314

1" rings.

I took classes thru The Lace Museum virtual education.

The other rings I tried (am creating) on my own from a book.

There are 'tools' needed ie

ring(s), needle, fiber; 

optional:  clips, celtic shuttles, tweezers, rubber gripper.
