silk cord, my back yard

Alex stepped outside & noticed a few visitors:Once they knew they were spotted, they ran off quickly (photos by Alex)

I made mention on the LHN/CCN Yahoo group about silk cords -- and, received a few e-mails w/questions. I soon realized more information was needed. These are a few pendants that use beading cords. Each of the necklaces have a different cord - cut on the end & knotted. Elastic cord is about $1.00 for 90". The one at the bottom of the picture is on silk cord. Click on the photo to enlarge. These cords are available at craft stores & bead stores. ie., Michael's, JoAnn Fabrics, Hobby Lobby - to name a few.
These are silk cords I recently purchased (on sale) from Hobby Lobby. They are 2 yards / 1.82 m regular price $3.99 -- on sale for $1.43. There are a variety of colors to choose from. IMO - inexpensive.
