adding leaves ...

Reply to questions: the tabletopper(TT) cut is about 22" x 22". It will be finished with the nun stitch/edge. As far as I know, this pattern is still available. In the past, I've washed my TT in the machine, gentle cycle & laid it out / flat to dry.

The boys have a few more days of school. Their final exams are next week Weds-Thurs-Fri. Last day of school is June 4th [1/2 day]. Nick seems to enjoy his filing job - supposed to be 5to10 hrs per week. Alex will try more applications after school lets out for the Summer. Alex did get a small part in the Summer Theatre, Annie. Plus, is looking forward to the next Harry Potter book.

I hope they won't get bored!

2 more days after Memorial Day for my kids :)

It's so hard to keep up with my blog reading lately - too much time away from home, I guess, in addition to all the regular household action. :)

But it was pure pleasure to catch up with all your projects today, Lelia! Hurray for Nick and his job and good luck to Alex in his search. It seems summer jobs are getting more and more difficult to find each year.

I would love to make my mom a table topper. She's just redone her dining room and I'm impatiently awaiting swatches and paint samples to match the colors!

My Harry Potter book is all pre-ordered. Can't wait!

Grapes is looking so pretty. I haven't tried washing mine in the machine, usually just throw it in the sink with some soap and swish it around and then line dry. Never had any problems though, that is one of the things I so like about the toppers, they are such easy care and they look so pretty.

Oooh Lelia, this is gorgeous! I've never attempted a table topper before, but I may have to one of these days - you've inspired me! I love Cross Eyed Cricket designs. I've just completed 'Autumn Acorn' which was an absolute joy to stitch. 'Tiny Toad' so cute - thanks for sharing with us :) x
