I was surprised by this wonderful fiber that arrived in my box today! All the way from Belgium. And, I don't know who sent it to me. Thank you very much : ) I will try to find a nice design to use this beautiful blue. I've never tried this kind before. I appreciate my Secret Santa & perhaps one day, you will reveal your name to me : )
The book under the fiber is by Tandy and Charles Hersh, called Sampler of the Pennsylvania Germans. Our daughter checked it out from the library. She said there are about 25 volumes on the shelf -- all by The Pennsylvania German Society. She said some had towels and other folk art. Next time I'm on campus, I'll have to visit the stacks.

How cool! Enjoy!
What a fun book to look at, and what a gorgeous blue floss. That will make a lovely addition to a future project.

Oh man, is there any way to purchase that book?? I just absolutely LOVE this style, and have a very battered old paperback of terrible quality ... but this looks divine!
Your secret Santa floss is so pretty! :)

The sampler book looks like the perfect thing to curl up on the couch with on a wintry day.
That is one gorgeous book you showed us there! And there are 25 more where this came from? Wow!
