Oh, so close to finishing!!! Yet it is after midnight and I need some shut eye -- maybe finish tomorrow ...
Pattern & Kit: Dorset Button with Preciosa Crystal Beads
The kit included everything to create this one button - bicone crystal beads are awesome. (participant provided scissors). I have aquired many small items for my buttonery tool box. I like to use clover clips, tweezers, needle threaders, beeswax, bamboo stiletto, ruler, small knitting bobbins, scissors, post it notes!!!
The Online Workshop, "The Joy of Dorset Buttons and Crystal Beads", was offered thru The Lace Museum, Virtual Education. I've enjoyed the sessions/classess offered. The sessions are recorded and available for a couple weeks after the workshop - which is nice to refer back to if needed to complete the project (s).

I'm nearly finished with this button certificate program .... If you have seen some of the hand made buttons on this blog, if you might be interested in creating buttons, might want to search for a program ...
go to the Virtual Education section -- of the Lace Museum.
Scroll down .... look for:
"Certificate Program for German Thread-Wrapped Buttons"
"Course Description: Monika Hoede and her associates at the TracfhtenKultur Beratung (Traditional Costume Culture Center) in Krumbach, Germany have created a button certificate program in which students make 100 different thread-technique buttons. Karen (Smock) was given permission to adapt the program with additional buttons by Anna McDowell (England), Gina Barrett (England) and Sabine Krump (Austria). She and her first students are also just finishing their translation of the course book, Posamentenknopf, into English."
