I love that tree - we have several in our neighborhood and I always call them magnolias, but I'm probably wrong. And Nicholas' project just blows me away - he's incredible!
Lelia, your Nicholas is just awesome! I can't believe how he just picked this up and started in stitching. I've been to many XS shows, and the men's competition always makes my jaw drop.
I'll have to go back and look at that tree after seeing the comments here, but at first glance, I thought it was a white dogwood???

What kind of tree is that? There are lots in my neighborhood, and I have no idea.
Then if you could tell me what kind of tree is growing in my front yard... ;)
And your kid is wicked talented! Such focus and dedication!
I am in awe of your son, Lelia! His work is incredible! Almost time for a happy dance!
Congrats to Nicholas on his progress. I need to show my husband and maybe reinspire his interest in stitching with me:)
Nicholas will be finished in no time! Wow - awesome job!

I have a tree like that in my back yard. I was told it is a tulip tree, but honestly I have no idea! ;o)
Go Nicholas! He has electric needles! I hope you get him to the craft store soon; looks like he's heading for home plate. ;)
