Look what I found in my mailbox? A beautiful card and fibers from Marjorie. If you have not stopped by her new blog, check out Moonsilk Stitches. IMO - the Crewel project (offered by EGA)she completed is outstanding. Imagine the talent & patience for beautiful crewel work!!
A close-up of the fibers. Aren't they festive??? I would prefer to do a stash hunt -- find something to start; however, we celebrate with Mom, In-laws, and friends tomorrow. I gotta house to get in order.
Note to Kendra (The Stitching Hour): I scanned the (English) translation from your Aunt & put it on the reverse side of card (which has the German poem). I cannot thank you, and your Aunt, enough : ) I will give them to my Mom, MIL, + SIL tomorrow.

What a winderful gift! I have checked out her blog and can't wait to see how the ring pillow turns out! Enjoy your family!
I'm glad I was able to help! And after comparing my aunt's translation to mine, I'm really glad I asked her...hers sounds much more poem-like than what I came up with! She said it was a good exercise for her. :-)
Those threads are beautiful!
Have a wonderful Christmas!
Those are lovely colours. And your angels are very special - I'm sure the recipients will love them. Have a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
The fibers are gorgeous, they are going to make a beautiful project. Also, the angels you found and put in your prior post are lovely. I'm glad you were able to get the translation you wanted for what they said.
