I am enjoying this book by Betsy Franco. It is, so far about a college student, Jesse, touching Rodin's sculpture, Meditation ... and, Camille Claudel comes to life! This was a win from Goodreads. It is easy to read and so far - very interesting.
Visited 2nd hand book store ... and picked up:
as it had photograph of Camille and information about how her presence changed the way he looked at women. Per this book.
Of course, while browsing shelves - found this book about Virginia Gautreau, the woman in John Singer Sargent's p
ortrait. it is on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art,
Oh, and I found Francine Prose! I had read a
book review about this + was happy to get this hardcover one for $3.50.
