 DS & DH.  Our other son, his wife & child also were at the garden.  Followed by a visit to Homer's Ice Cream.  https://www.homersicecream.com/.

adding pins, etc., I'm ready to start wrapping & weaving fibers.

I'm planning to use ECRU DMC No. 70 Cordonnet Special.

 I've been giving needle lace, OYA, and Teneriffe a try.  (Plus, a Hardanger refresher).

Portage PLOD 5K

5K with a cold - not a very good idea.

 

Music

 November 19, 2024, DH and I went to a Creed , Three Doors Down Concert, in Grand Rapids, MI.  We had such a good time & visited the Christmas Market the following day.  I read Brad Arnold has medical challenges and Daughtry will be touring w/Creed.   Hope his medical team has a good plan of care lined up for him.    Amazing.   We saw Daughtry w/Disturbed April 9th (Indianapolis) -- excellent show.     photos here.

Misc.

 String-a-Long Quilt Show is not at the Expo Center this year.   It is a GREAT show to attend. 

 Found out at the local Quilt Store earlier today.   cotton hearts quilt shop.   Very cool that they have a bucket of 'goodies' at the register -- when you purchase, you choose from the bucket.

 So grateful for friends sharing their fiber stash.   I met Beth and Melody in 1998 & we still keep in touch.

 When they were on the walkway (from the stage thru the standing-only pit area), we were close!    I think 3 rows back from the standing only area.

 When they were on stage, the staging was impressive.   They moved around quite a bit.
