While in the Garden of the Gods, on a guided nature walk -- we learned many things. And, since we were so close to Pikes Peak - the guide explained driving, hiking, or taking the train to the top ... We chose the Cog Railway train. Cog Railway Webpage

The train goes straight up ... takes over an hour.

I would have been freaking out the whole way since am afraid of heights. Thanks for showing the pics for one who would never take a ride up there. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
