Shepherd's Bush Needleroll

I am not in the needleroll exchange; however, this is the last needleroll I completed. It is called Folk Heart Needleroll by Shepherd's Bush Printworks. I especially liked adding the lace to enhance the stitching bands. Finishing needlerolls, for me, takes longer than stitching them. After the exchanges are made -- I look forward to hearing some TIPS for finishing. I swear there has to be an easier way ; ) Have a stitchy week-end. PS kfc: Opinions vary on frames & scroll bars. I suggest going to your LNS, sitting down & using one of the setups. I use K's Creations scroll bars, frames, etc. If you want to see pictures:

First of all, I love your work! You have some great pieces here; I'm so envious. I have a bunch of Shepherd's Bush stuff in my to do pile(I used to live 10 minutes from the shop). I have always loved Sanctuary. First steps is stunning! I got blitzed with some ads the other day too--I thought about reporting it but wasn't sure if it would do any good. I like your stitching corner; my stitching and knitting stuff could easily take over a large closet or small room! What brand of scroll frame do you use? I use q-snaps but I have wanted to try a good scroll frame. Thanks for stopping by my blog and happy stitching :)

I feel the same way about finishing and can you believe that I've never stitched a needle roll? You've inspired me - this one by Shepherd's Bush is beautiful!

It is beautiful and congrats on the ribbons! I stitched this one as a gift for my SIL. (I need to stitch it again for me!) At the time my sewing machine was packed away and it seemed to take forever stitching up the side seam by hand. :o)

Beautiful needleroll. I will have to take time to learn how to finish off some pieces someday.

This is lovely! I just got some little SB's to do for fun in between other projects and they are so cute.

Your finishing looks fabulous to me! It's my weakest spot ... I'm even better at beading than finishing :-(
